Hi,

If you might get a new job quickly, there's little harm in waiting. (THAT'S OK)

Can we use 'might, should, ought to' for unreal past conditional also like 'could'?

I just sent an email to the author to see if I might help in some way.

Thanks...

Both your sentences are fine.

I've only seen and heard 'might' used in the sense of 'could', never 'should' or 'ought to'.
You're second sentence works, but I don't know what you want me to do with the first one.

Might in use in the sense of unreal past cond. like could, is that so?

"Might" i[STRIKE]n[/STRIKE] use in the sense of unreal past conditional like "could", is that so?
In certain contexts, there can be little difference in meaning between:

John could have gone to Paris.
John might have gone to Paris.
