Hello.

Is my sentence correct?

'Which season do you like most of all?'

Yes, but "of all" could be omitted.

It works in the right context. If you're just asking a general question, say "Which season do you like most?" or "What's your favorite season?"

I've been thinking about this as our unusually long spring has finally given way to summer weather. I realized I don't look forward to summertime very much because around here, it's uncomfortable for me. We get hot, very humid weather and a lot of annoying insects. Deer flies infest an area I normally enjoy walking through. When they're out, my walks are a lot less pleasant.

The longer it takes for the hot weather to get here the better.

The definite article is optional before 'most'. Right? "Which season do you like most?" I remember I had a grammar book in which I read that it was wrong to use 'the' definite article before superlative adverbs.

Yes. "Which season do you like most?" or "Which season do you like the most?" Take your pick.

I don't know why that would be.
