Please help me check these sentences.
1. Fortunately, most ... are harmless and not serious.
A. headaches B. of headaches C. the headaches D. of the headaches (can I choose D)
2. The doctor gave me this ... for a bad cold.
A. recipe B. prescription C. receipt D. menu
3. She like doing volunteer/ voluntary work. (can I use either?)

The most common answer is A. D could be an answer if one is talking about specific headaches. "People exposed to radiation complain of headaches. Fortunately, most of the headaches are not serious".

2. The doctor gave me this ... for a bad cold.
A. recipe B. prescription C. receipt D. menu
Prescription is the best answer. Recipe is a possible answer if the doctor is giving you instructions on how to get a cold.

3. She like doing volunteer/ voluntary work. (can I use either?)
She likes doing volunteer work.
