What should one say to buy tickets at the box office? Is this a correct format or is it too long? What are other alternative ways of asking?


(#) tickets for the (time) showing of (movie name), please.

ex. I would like 2 tickets for the 1:55 showing of "Alice in Wonderland" in 3D, please.

That's fine.
You could cut it down to "Two adults for the 1:55 of Alice, please" but it doesn't really take that long to say what you said.
