What is the difference between the meanings of the following three lines?

My session has completed.
My session is completed.
My session has been completed.

Re: Difference

#1 is ungrammatical ("complete" as a verb needs an object).
#2 is unnatural.
#3 is possible in the right context.

What kind of session are you talking about?

Re: Difference

Please explain the meaning of last two lines from the original text.

Re: Difference

Say:

My session is over.

Or:

My session has finished.

Or:

My session has ended.

:)

What kind of session are you talking about?

Is it because "complete" is a transitive verb?

Re: Difference

Yes- my session has ended would work.
