[Vocabulary] native resident of Toronto?

Is it correct to say "native resident" when you mean a person who was born in some city, not country, and whose ancestors lived there? Can it be e.g. "Toronto-born"? If neither of these variants is correct could you please help with the proper ones?

"Toronto-born" simply means they were born there. They could live anywhere. "Toronto born and bred" means they were born there and raised there. If the person has never left Toronto, then "Lifelong Toronto resident" would work.
