[Grammar] Neither / Nor

Please help me, Which one is correct and more pertinent ?
1) I couldn't find Sarra, nor did I know where she had gone.

2) I couldn't find Sarra, neither did I know where she had gone.

charizma, no sentence is correct without a final punctuation mark.
 
And note that "Sarra" might be a standard name where you live, but it's not a recognisable English name. Similarly-spelt English names are Sara, Sarah and Zara.

Never mind. It is an Arabic name. It is not our problem here ;-)
 
You can say "I couldn't find Sarra. Neither did I know where she had gone." But that has to be two sentences.

Is that a ye olde traditional spelling or a modern aberration?
 
It depends on your definition of "modern". I was at school with both a Sara and a Zara in the early 1970s.
