"Ninth class mathematics is much more difficult than of tenth class".

Please check.

Re: Nineth class mathematics

What do you mean by "ninth class" and "tenth class"? They mean nothing to me. You misspelt "ninth" in your title.

We don't use "than of" in this context.

Re: Nineth class mathematics

"The maths of grade nine is much more difficult than that of grade ten."
"Grade nine maths is much more difficult than grade ten maths."
Perhaps that's what you mean. If it is, I'd suggest that it possibly only seems more difficult because, in grade nine, the initial concepts that grade ten maths relies on are taught.

Oi oi oi. Ninth, not nineth, grade, not class, than that of, not than of.

Do you even read the responses that people here take the time to give you, tufguy?

Re: Nineth class mathematics

But I was told I misspelt "ninth" and I had written the same spelling thats why I did the correction and I had to use the same words that I used in original question. I just had to correct the spelling but you are saying "ninth" is correct, "nineth" is incorret.

I told you that you had misspelt "ninth" in your title.

Re: Nineth class mathematics

When someone writes you misspelled "word", they spell word correctly. They don't repeat the misspelling.

I told you that you had misspelt "ninth" in your title.
I corrected it in the original title as I didn't want to keep reading nineth in perpetuity on the opening page or to have other students thinking it was correct.

I can't change it for every answering post.

Ah, sorry, I hadn't noticed you'd changed it in the title.

Sorry guys, I didn't know that it had been corrected thats why I got confused. Sorry once again.
