How to answer "Would you like to see a film on Sunday"

I am an EFL learner. I am not sure but does it sound valid if I answer "No thanks. I need to do my homework"? Would English users really say like this? Or are there any better response.

I am an EFL learner. I am not sure but does it sound valid if I if it's natural to answer with "No thanks. I need to do my homework". Would native English users speakers really say it like this no question mark here or are there any better responses?

Note my changes above. We don't start questions with "How to".

The simplest answer to the question is "No thanks". However, if you want to elaborate by explaining why that's your answer, then "I need to do my homework" is fine too.

There are loads of ways of answering the question. Here are a few:

Thanks for the offer but I can't. I've got homework to do.
Sorry, I can't. I need to get my homework done.
I'd love to but I need to do my homework.
Thanks, but no. I really need to spend Sunday doing my homework.
