Hello!
I need to write an official letter from university to museum (I need just fill in the template) , to get an access to information about some exhibits from their collection, but I'm not sure how to write it in English correctly. Could you please give some examples or explain the rules?
That's my variant for a now:

Hello!
I need to write an official letter from a/my university to a museum

What does that mean? Do you already have the template, and if so, is what you wrote an English translation of it?

What examples and what rules? Do you mean you need help with proofreading/editing your letter?
That's my variant draft for a now:

Dear (first name, Surname),
That should be: Dear [title] [surname],
For example:
Dear Dr. Johnson,

For the rest of your letter, try to write actual words instead of dummy fillers. The words needn't be factual. That way, we can understand it better.
Post below.

I received a reply from museum that they need official letter from my University (where should be written the aim of receiving information and pictures) ,then they could give me information about objects in which I'm interested in.
I'm trying to figure out how best to write this letter in terms of Formal English.
