Hi,

I added an article to my website but I am nt sure if my sentence is correct.

In this research they performed as well as the younger. They just acted as if they doubted their memory.
This means that many of our cultural beliefs about aging are wrong. Older people can learn new things.

How is it?

Thanks

Hi,

I don't understand the part highlighted in blue.

I don't understand the part highlighted in blue.
It means thay doubted in their memory.

THanks for checking

Re: Is it correct?

It means [STRIKE]thay[/STRIKE] they doubted [STRIKE]in[/STRIKE] their memory.

[STRIKE]THanks[/STRIKE] Thanks for checking.

That doesn't answer the question. "Doubt their memory" doesn't mean anything. Are you trying to say that they don't trust their memory? Do they perhaps think that they are misremembering things?

I wanna say that Elder people don't trust their memory. THey don't think they can't remember so much.

One more question. Can I write "Improve Your Lifestyle with Scientific Research"?

I want to [STRIKE]na[/STRIKE] say that older people don't trust their memory. They don't think they can remember so much.
Try,
They didn't rely on their memory to perform the tasks they were given.

One more question. Can I write "Improve Your Lifestyle with Scientific Research"?
That's an unrelated question. Please start a new thread for it.

I think it means they lacked confidence in their ability to remember things.

Please note that I have changed your thread title.

You could say that older people don't have much faith in their ability to remember.
