Hi guys,

Please check. We say "I dropped my pen on my way to the office or home". But suppose I have just reached office. Manager asks me for a pen and I dropped it on my way to the office. So can I say "I dropped it somewhere while coming to the office or on my way to here(means office)"?

Yes, but drop the "to" from "to here", so that it reads "on my way here".

Sorry I didn't get you. Do you mean I can say "I dropped it somewhere on my way here"?
