[Grammar] on or at the computer

Is there a difference between working at the computer or on the computer?
 
Not normally, though, in the right context, a person working on the computer could be repairing it.
 
I think "on" the computer is more common, especially since computers are no longer immovable objects that you need to go to to be "at" while working.
