I have a question.
Should it be on or in a project?

1. I recently got a very good score on a project that accounted for 30% of a course at my university.

or

2. I recently got a very good score in a project accounted for 30% of a course at my university.

Thank you in advance for the help!

'On' sounds far more natural to me, but I don't think 'in' is wrong.
