I'm writing Tech articles.
I have a simple question.
Which one is correct in Windows or on Windows?

Please give us a complete sentence to consider so we can give you a good answer.

Ask Which one is correct, "in Windows" or "on Windows"?

I think it depends on the context. Both could be correct. Could you give us some examples?

In Windows OS, you can install programs
I've installed it on Windows.

Are these sentences correct?

I'd write:

You can install programs on computers running the Windows operating system.
I've installed this program on a Windows PC
or I've installed it under Windows.

I suggest you use 'on' in both places.

In most cases I would use on, but I think in is fine in the first with that word order.
