Student: what type of question will be asked in the exam/test? (US: on the exam/test)

1) Teacher: only multiple choice questions will be there. ("There" meaning in the exam)

2) Teacher: only multiple choice questions will be there in the exam. ("There" meaning in the exam)

3) Teacher: there will be only multiple choice questions there. (The second "there" meaning in the exam)

4) Teacher: there will be only multiple choice questions.

Which is/are correct?

The question you've given us would elicit "Only multiple choice questions [will be asked] [on the exam/test]".

You need to remember that we rarely repeat huge chunks of a question in the response if we don't need to.

How many sisters do you have? Three.
What type of questions will be asked on the exam? Multiple choice only.

So all four sentences in post #1 are OK (with the meaning of "there" written in parentheses) as responses to the above question. Am I right?

Also, is the "there" in the above question different from the "there" in
(1) Teacher: only multiple choice questions will be there.

I do. I see it much the same as "on the exam paper".
