Hi,

could you please give me an onomatopoeia for "scrape of the lid of the bottle unscrewing", please?

Is 'scrape-scrape-scrape' an onomatopoeia?

Thanks. :)

It doesn't sound much like opening a bottle to me.

Ah! What is it then?
Thanks for answering. :)

scrape-scrape-scrape

"that scrape-scrape-scrape of the lid of the vodka bottle unscrewing."

What does it mean? What is the action?

Thanks in advance.

Re: scrape-scrape-scrape

I've spent quite some time googling onomatopoeia in an effort to answer your question.

I don't believe there is a word to describe that sound.

Re: scrape-scrape-scrape

Thanks anyway for your effort, you're very kind! :)
Finally I translated it by using the simple translation of 'scrape' and quoted it as a loss.
My translation and analysis are ready, yay!! :)
And now fingers crossed!!
