Does "opportunity arises" mean you get a chance to do something?

Here are some examples:

1- If the opportunity arises to travel to Brazil. I would definitely go.
2- You better take the advantage if the opportunity arises.
3- An opportunity arose when I was living in Spain. So, I studied Spanish for three years.

Here are some examples:

1- If the opportunity arises to travel to Brazil, I would will definitely go.
2- You'd better take the advantage if the opportunity if it arises.
3- An opportunity arose when I was living in Spain no full stop here so no comma here I studied Spanish for three years.
Yes, that's what it means. Note my corrections above. In sentence #1, you used "arises" so you need "will". To use "would", you need "arose" in the first clause.
