Good day Colleagues,

ICT is in the process of implementing self-service password reset and unlock for all users. This is done to enhance security and to ensure accurate record keeping. Furthermore, it will reduce the amount of time and effort required for the process. Essentially when the functionality has been enabled, users will no longer be required to complete a form when they need their Windows password to be rest or unlocked. Please note that this service will only for Windows operating systems, for other applications the process will remain the same.

To initiate the process starting from Friday the 25th of November 2016, ICT personnel will visit each user at their workstation to assist with activating the functionality. Attached is a how to guide for future reference. Please print it out and have it available for days you may need to reset or unlock your account password.

Regards,

IT Support

See above. There are a lot of missing spaces in your post. Please use the "Edit Post" function to insert those spaces.

Is there such a thing as "unlocking a password"?
Or do you mean "unlocking an account"?
