Hi.

If I think someone's made some mistakes and I want to point it out. Is it natural to say "Please don't take it amiss if I venture to point out your errors"?

I think the sentence isn't natural. First, "venture to" is not good here, also "take it amiss" might be very old-fashioned. Please help.

It is okay though a bit formal to tell someone not to be offended about pointing out their errors.

Can you find the error in the quoted text and correct it in a new post?

I'd love to.

I might say 'Please don't take it personally if I point out...'

It's rather stuffy.

I'd say, "I hope you don't mind if I point our some errors".

I think it should be "point out" some errors and the typo is still there.

If I thought someone's.....(someone has....)?

No. The problem is that you've split a single sentence into two. The first one is a sentence fragment because it lacks a main verb.

Now that you know what the problem is, can you see how to join them into a correct sentence? Include all the text from the first two sentences of the original post.

Is it better now? I think the main verb in the first sentence is "made".

Sorry, no. This is what I've been aiming for:

I was about to make that change. Sorry for my slowness.
