Please help me with what David Letterman said in this short interview clip

Hi everyone,

I've been watching this short interview that the actress Maggie Q had with David Letterman, I can understand all the content they've been talking about except for this one sentence David Letterman said at the end of the interview, which starts from 00:02:14 in the Youtube video. I guess because he talked too fast. Also I've included the audio clip as an attachment(in case you don't want to check out the video). Please help me out by writing down what Letterman said exactly.

Hi Jill,

Thank you for your help. I'm a little confused though, is the sentence "when's the pizza get here" a correct one? (considering the lady Letterman referred to is from Hong Kong) I don't know what it is supposed to mean. I assume "when will the pizza get here", "when was the pizza sent here", or "when's the time the pizza get here" would make more sense?

And is "when's the pizza get here" a funny line or some kind of joke that I simply didn't get?

Technically speaking, she meant "When does the pizza get here?" Dave was sort of making a joke, implying that the woman was unimpressed by her trip to New York and being in the Late Night audience....she wanted the free pizza that someone had apparently promised her.
