Is it right to place a comma after ".. time being"?

Please leave the letter with you for the time being, as Royal Mail is experiencing severe disruptions in their international service. They have advised customers to avoid sending items abroad. The reason is explained here:

Alternatively, end the sentence after "...time being", and start a new sentence like this:-

Please leave the letter with you for the time being. Royal Mail is experiencing ..

Yes, it's okay, but "leave the letter with you" is no good. Try, for example: "Please hold on to your letter" or "Please do not post your letter" instead.
Alternatively, can I end the sentence after "...time being", and start a new sentence like this:-
You can, but note the correction above.
