I wasn’t trying to be deceiving. I literally just joined a couple hours ago for the sole purpose of finding out more about how people perceive my accent. The reason why I picked English as my native language is because when I tried asking the same question last year, members answered based on what’s written in my profile. So this time I chose to hide my native language and country just until other members answer my question without being affected by what’s on my profile.

As for repeating the same thread in multiple forums, my apologies but again I just joined and I still don’t know all the rules. I will wait for any responses from any helpful members on this forum only.

No replies have been deleted or hidden in this thread, although I did ask people to refrain from replying until you updated your profile information, which you still haven't done.

However, it now also sounds you may have multiple accounts if you previously posted last year under a different name. This also violates our forum rules.

Based on this, I am going to lock this thread until we can resolve these issues pertaining to your account without cluttering the forum.

Subsequent posts will still be subject to the standard new member moderation, as mentioned above.
