Is "plus" in the sense of "furthermore" a conjunctive adverb? It's not listed here: Conjunctive adverb - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

I'm wondering whether the punctuation in the following sentence is correct: "I'm busy, plus I'm short on cash." If "plus" is indeed a conjunctive adverb, then that sentence should be punctuated as follows: "I'm busy; plus, I'm short on cash."

Thanks!

"Also" isn't listed either, plus they say it's a list of common conjunctive adverbs - not all of them.

It seems like you can call it a lot of things, including a simple conjunction.
