If I used "will" in the if-clause as a polite request form, could it be followed by "going to"?

"If you will wait here, I'm going to go call the manager."

"If you will wait here, I'm going to go call the manager."
It's OK. Better and more natural would be, "If you wait here, I'll call the manager".
