Present Simple VS Present Continuous

Dear teachers!

Can you help me if we can use the present simple or present continuous for the couples of sentences below? If yes, please help me why we can do it? Thank you very much. banmai.

1.
I usually watch the news on TV at 7am.
I am usually watching the news on TV at 7am.

2.
I teach Maths in a school in Japan
I am teaching Maths in a school in Japan

3.
I love having you stay with me
I am loving having you stay with me

4.
I call to thank you for the present you sent
I am calling to thank you for the present you sent

5.
I resemble my father
I am resembling my father

1. You should use present simple because it shows a habit.
2.It can be both.If it is temporary, you should use present continuous. If it is permanent, you should use present simple.
3.The present simple one is correct. " Love" is a state verb and it is not used in the progressive form.
4. The continuous one is correct because it is happening right on the spot.Now I am calling to tell you...
5. The present simple one is correct because it is a fact.We use present simple to talk about facts , habits and permanent actions.
