Good evening.
I am doubting about certain terminology related to civil registration and its legal effects against third parties in the US law, and I would appreciate some help from a US native.
Obviously there are different jurisdictions and systems, but some opinion would be of much help anyway.
I am talking about the term "principle of publicity", as one of the registration principles recognized by many countries in Europe, which implies that facts published in legal registers - subject to strict procedures and open to the public - can be upheld as proof by third parties in good faith to be protected by law against claims or demands whatsoever on property or any other right registered in such official recordings.
Thanks for any comment.
