[Grammar] "Put off for 10 days" or "put off by 10 days"?

"Put off for 10 days" or "put off by 10 days"? Which one is correct, please?

Also, "Postpone by 10 days" or "Postpone for 10 days"??

I think so the use of FOR is better here.
(ps a teacher would explain you in a much better way)

"Put off for (a period of) 10 days". Does this help you to understand?
