Dear Native Speakers,

Could anybody, please, use the following in a sentence?

Quod Erat Demonstrandum= Q.E.D

Thanks.

Q E D is a sentence in itself.

It's not really an everyday utterance. It is used either formally at the end of some sort of mathematical or logical proof to declare that you have proven what you intended to prove.

Or it is used as a bit of rhetorical flourish at the end of any argument when you feel you have made the definitive statement on the issue being argued.
