Hi, I was wondering whether I face this issue because I'm not a native English speaker, so a fresh eye and a bit of consultation would be priceless for me.
In a reading practive text entitled "Shambo" I read: "Shambo, the bull at the centre of a three-month legal fight, has been killed. After a positive test for TB, an order was made for his slaughter, in keeping with the law.
Then I mark the following statement as True:
Q7 - Shambo was definitely ill with TB.
TrueFalse
whereas the correct answer is False.

Could anyone please explain why is False the answer?
Thanks in advance
P.S. This is not the first case of discrepancy I come across in reading tests here.

'True' is the correct answer.

This is a bad English question. It might be a good medical question. A positive test for TB is not evidence of illness. It is evidence of current or past infection or perhaps even prior exposure. So, while the answer is correct, the question is terrible.

'True' is the correct answer.

Thanks a lot!
I guess medical knowledge is also expected in working with the texts...which is somewhat confusing, though.
