Respected Teachers,

Please, help me regarding the difference between 'reason of' and 'reason for'.

Thanks

NOT A TEACHER BUT A STUDENT LIKE YOU,

I checked up your word in a dictionary as it is important to me. What I got is the correct preposition to use after "reason" is "for". Don't say the reason "of" something — say the reason "for" something.:)
