Could you please clarify the reason, which one is correct and why?

1) I have to go bank for getting some money.
2) I have to go bank to get some money.

Could you please clarify the reason, which one is correct and why?

1) I have to go bank for getting some money.
2) I have to go to the bank to get some money.

2) is correct.

We say "to the bank" after "to go", not just "go bank".

Without a verb, "for" would be fine.

I have to go to the bank for some money.
I have to go to the bank to get some money.
