I need topics for my research proposal in English language or literature
I am doing masters in English literature and language
No interest in linguistics and phonetics
But I want to do research and thesis in language

There is hardly anything we can do for you here about that. The topic is far too wide. You need to choose a narrower field of study and carry on from there. Once you start writing it, we might be able to help you with particular issues.

Why do you want to do research in language? If you do, can't you look into the language in a literary area?

What does it mean language in literary area?language of different literature forms?
I was interested in literature but it needs deep study and I don't have time to do that and that needs to have more knowledge about the literary terms.I get good marks in English language as compared to literature.

Sadly, with so many Masters Lite degrees available these days, that's not always the case.

As we are doing it in 2 years we cannot cover everything and our degree comprises of both language and literature in addition to that we are also doing teaching methods.

I wanted to say that time is too short like I have 2 weeks and in addition to that I have got my exams within the same week.
We can find everything on internet but I guess relying on internet rather than studying books is not that good and trust able too like blogs and things we never know if they are right or wrong we cannot challenge anyone.
If I am doing in literature I can find everything on internet but I don't want to wholly rely on internet.
One should take help from internet but completely relying on it we cannot defend ourselves in thesis viva or research viva.
