Hi,

Question:

Is it sensible to say
"responsible for various aspects of work"
?

Sentence:
As a manager at ABC Ltd in the IT department, I am responsible for various aspects of work of the analysis team.
Example 1 ...
Example 2 ...

My opinion:
I know that it I should say "I am responsible for analysing data, responsible for handling enquiries".
However, I am not sure whether "responsible for various aspects of work" is correct or not.

Thanks

So, the second "the" can be omitted, ie

various aspects of the work of [STRIKE]the[/STRIKE] analysis team

No. When you write "various aspects of work ...", the reader thinks you are finished---he hears "work" as a mass noun. As he reads on, he realizes his mistake. The article makes him wait for your description of what work you mean---the work of the team.
