Kindly elaborate the in depth difference between two:-revered and reverend along with the examples.

What differences have you already discerned from your own research, using free online dictionaries accessed via OneLook.com?

I found them both close synonyms and am unable to distinguish the proper use.
somewhere people mention their father as revered somewhere reverend.
I am at a loss that's why I seek your help. :)

'Revered' is used to mean 'greatly respected'. 'Reverend' in modern usage usually refers to members of the clergy.

So please tell me if one's father can be reverend or not even if he is not a clergyman or related to any religious institution?

We wouldn't say that in modern English.
