I guys ! hope you are doing well during this weird time.
Sorry to disturb your week end , I was hoping you could answer this quick English language question...

If someone ask “ would you like to come for diner”

And the other person replies “ I don’t mind”

Does this sounds right ? Polite?

[STRIKE]If[/STRIKE] Say someone asksWould you like to come for dinner?, and the other person replies “[no space here]I don’t mind”.

It sounds okay to me—neutral but not particularly polite.

Artiiir, please note that I have improved your thread title.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

In most English-speaking places, it would sound like you're not enthusiastic. Try something like:

- Yes, I would. What time?
- That would be great. Thank you! What time?
- I'd love to. What time?

I agree with Charlie. "I don't mind" sounds almost like a complaint. (Not quite. Almost.) That's especially true in the case of something like an invitation to dinner.
