Are these both correct?

"He is royalty."
"He is of royalty."
 
Are these both correct?

1. "He is royalty."
2. "He is of royalty."

Please number sentences when you give us more than one to consider.
Sentence #1 is OK. I wouldn't use #2. If I wanted to use "of", I might say "He is royal blood".
 
Or of royal descent for someone less connected.
