S sound or sounds in "reports say"

When there are two similar sounds occuring together across a word bridge like this, they're articluated as a single sound but sustained fractionally longer. It's called 'gemination'.

Although this is an AI-generated voice, and it's not such a bad model, it doesn't show this lengthening effect very well. You can hear it better in the following example:

dress size
dress eyes


You should be pronouncing each item in the pair differently.
 
Also note that if it were singular, it would be "report says." That's a clue.
 
She's a human, her name is Kelly Jean Kelly.
Where did you get that information from? There are no credits whatsoever on that YouTube audio clip. It was uploaded just yesterday, has no comments and there's no information about the channel owner, let alone a credit of the voice. If that's really a human speaking, her voice should [legally] be credited in the clip notes.
