I used the word "sacrifice" to make a sentence.
Please advice me is it correct or not?

Sacrifice yourself to save more people in the fire. Everyone will prove to you.
You are a hero.

Is it intended to be an imperative sentence where the speaker is asking the listener to save others in a fire happening at the moment?

I tried to make a sentence by using "sacrifice".
According to all opinion from here, I seem to make a wrong sentence.

Why not try the simpler more traditional subject+verb+object structure? ;-)
Think of tense as you compose your sentence.

As a teacher suggested, the word "sacrifice" can often mean to give one's life.

Did you maybe want to say something like this?

"If you risk your life to save people in a fire, everyone will call you a hero."



("Risk" means that there is a possibility that the hero will die.)

Those "sacrifices" might include:

1. He will not get married until I graduate. He wants to save as much money as possible from his salary in order to help me.
2. He takes the bus to work because he does not want to spend money on the upkeep of a car (gas, repairs, etc.).
3. He lives in a modest apartment instead of one that costs more money.
