As title. What is the different about "section", "unit" and "department"?
more detail will be better. thanks a lot!

Hi Daniel, and welcome.

It will simply depend on how the person using these words defines them.

In some companies, a section will be larger than a department, and a department may have several units. Or there my be a unit with a couple departments, each of which has multiple sections.

These words all simply refer to groups that together make up a whole, but there is no defined order of hierarchy.
