Hello,
I just registered in this forum.From what I've seen by far I think I like it.It's very useful especially for non-English speakers like myself.So my first query is the following sentence : " [FONT=&quot]Financial analysis reports are prepared by some company’s personnel having this function".
I[/FONT][FONT=&quot]t is part from this paragraph : [/FONT] [FONT=&quot]Financial analysis is a very important aspect of business. All types of companies, small, medium or big sized need proper financial statements analysis could provide it with vital information about company financial status: current and future. The information provided is essential for company’s senior management: it facilitate decision making process and bring down risks at minimum levels. Financial analysis reports are prepared by some company’s personnel having this function. However, most reports are outsourced to externally hired specialists called “financial analysts".
So what do you think of this sentence?Does it sound like non-sense or it is just have been written in very high style?Could it have been stated differently?

The entire paragraphs is full of errors and I expect it was not written by a native speaker.

The sentence you highlight is no worse than some of the others, and I expect its intended meaning is "In some companies, the financial analysis is performed in-house" or "In some companies, financial analysis reports are prepared internally."

Thank you for your quick response.Well the sentence isn't really written by native English speaker.That's why i wanted it to be checked.
You mentioned something that you're being writer.I'm also interested in that,but I still need to improve my English...a lot.Any tips for me?How do you exercise the versatility of your written expression?

Oh my - I think anyone who can write "How do you exercise the versatility of your written expression?" doesn't need any tips from me! ;-)

Write for your audience. Consider what they know and what they need to know. Don't lose sight of that and you'll be fine!
