In a two-column table, which of the following is correct:

1) Username-The administrator's username.

2) Username-This is the username of the administrator.

This all boils down to one question. Should tables contain full sentences?

No, they should not, and I'd even suggest removing the "the."

Administrator's username

Save the full sentences for the documentation that goes with the software.

I think I'd do the same as Barb- it's not a definition and as a full sentence just looks repetitious.
