Hi! I understand the meaning of 'set something/someone on fire but, what does it mean when you say, 'You set my mind on fire'?
Set on fire means, To begin to burn, ignite and also means, To make passionate feelings in.
Does it mean, (in my case) you make me to be excited?

Hi! I understand the meaning of "set something/someone on fire' but (no comma here) what does it mean when you say (no comma here) 'You set my mind on fire'?

'Set on fire' means (no comma here) 'To begin to burn, ignite' and also means (no comma here) 'To make passionate feelings in'. (Where did you find that last definition? It's not grammatical.)

Does it mean (no comma here) (in my case) 'You make me [strike]to be[/strike] excited'?

Please note my corrections above.

In what context did you see hear those words, Ali?

It was in a book named 'Heather's Song' by Diana Palmer.
“Woman,” he whispered roughly, his mouth poised just above hers, “you make my blood burn, you set my mind on fire. God knows I love kissing you."

Please note my corrections above.

Thank you for your corrections!
Sorry, you're right. I made mistake!
The last definition was 'To arouse passionate feelings in'.

In future, Ali, please tell us the source and author of any text you quote in post #1, without having to be asked for it.
