Hi,

Which is the correct answer of this sentence?

This old room has not been much in use of late. No wonder it has such a _______ appearance.

a)vulgar
b)cheap
c)shabby
d)fancy

I think "c" is the correct answer but I only heard people say "you look shabby", and never consider it refers to a thing, such as a room. "a", vulgar, refers to a thing or person, is also possible.

So, is "shabby" the right answer?
