May/Can/Could/Shall I use your phone/yours?

I don’t think “Shall I use your phone?” is appropriate in this context. “Shall I...” is usually used to make suggestions not requests. For example,
Shall I take a gift to my host family?
Shall I add your name to the list?
Shall I put the fire on?
Shall I run you home?
(All the above sample sentences are from Oxford Advanced Learner’s English Dictionary)
What do you say?

In fairness to Diamondcutter, they're all there, but not under "shall". However, the first one is slightly misquoted.

I agree that it wouldn't work as a request, but it can work as a suggestion.
For example, if those were two colleagues working on the same issue in some call centre (or tech support centre), then it can work.

Although the version with shall can work as a suggestion, it doesn't work in this context. The response Of course! Here you are shows adequately clearly that person A is making a request.
