Hi.

In my neighborhood there’s a slide for children. I was there with my little cousin the other day, later my uncle (my cousin’s mom) came and asked where my little cousin was, I said

She’s playing the slide.

Is my sentence natural?

Silver, before you ask any more questions, please correct the two comma splices in your post.

You cannot keep using commas in this way.

You seem to struggle with the concept of commas because you think everything is connected. I recommend that you start by writing everything as short sentences (ensuring that they all have a subject and a main verb) and full stops between each one. We can then tell you where you should have used commas. I think you'll make fewer errors that way.

I wonder if this time is better.

I did try it, Ems. But when I was writing short sentences, I still struggled to think if two short sentences are connected.

Actually every time before I start a thread, I check my errors to make sure I don't or won't make any mistakes of using commas.

I didn't make those errors on purpose.

Yes, it is.

Please note that Piscean and I agree on something. (Kidding.)

There should be a full-stop at those parts in red.

Are we all talking about the kind of slide pictured here?

EDIT: I just searched Google images for 'sliding board' and found many of the same pictures.
