She has liable if she doesn't get rid of defamatory or potentially defamatory statements.

1. Why "statements" should be added "s"?

2.What does the phrase mean "get rid of" ?
 
"She has liable..." is incorrect. Where did you find that sentence? "statements" is plural, that's why there is an "s".
 
What about she is ?

More than one statement release same time?
 
"She is liable" works. The statements could be in one document.
 
Then could 'get rid of' mean 'rid the document of those statements'?
