I want to shorten the phrase “a list of X" to the form of “X list”. Here X might be any object, for example, stars, products, items, etc. My question what’s the difference between plural and singular X form?
Examples:
* item list vs. items list
* star list vs. stars list
* product list vs. products list
Examples:
* item list vs. items list
* star list vs. stars list
* product list vs. products list
