I'm making another one for participle, but is the following interpreted as simple participle when the two actions happened sequentially?
Getting off the bus, I purchased a brochure and picked out what I wanted to see.
= After I got off the bus, I purchased a brochure and picked out what I wanted to see.
What not "Having got off the bus"?
