2) Roy lives in a forest so he goes outside and chops down some trees.
3) Football teams play hard in the final games.
4) Lions charge and devour other animals when they are so hungry.

The verb is "to applaud". The noun is "applause".

2) Roy lives in a forest so he goes outside and chops down some trees.

3) Football teams play hard in the final games.
If you mean "the last few games of the season", then "final games" is OK. If you mean the last match of a competition (the final), then you would probably say "Football teams play hard in finals".

5) Kathy washes the plates but she chips them [STRIKE]everyday[/STRIKE] every day.
